Croissant Breakfast Burger
Ingredients:
1 large croissant (cut in half horizontally)
1/4 lb ground beef patty (seasoned with salt and pepper)
2 slices of crispy cooked bacon
1 slice of cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon butter (optional, for toasting the croissant)
Instructions:
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread butter on the cut sides of the croissant and toast until golden brown. Set aside.
In the same skillet, cook the ground beef patty over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Add the cheddar cheese slice on top during the last minute to melt.
Heat a small amount of butter in the skillet. Crack the eggs gently and fry until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny, or cook longer for firmer yolks. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper.
On the bottom half of the croissant, place the cheesy beef patty.
Layer with crispy bacon slices.
Place the top half of the croissant on the sandwich.
