Festive Grinch Cookies for the Holidays

Ingredients:
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
– 1 large egg
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– Red and green sprinkles
– 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well until everything is combined.
4. In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until the dough forms.
5. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and a handful of red and green sprinkles to give your cookies that festive flair.
6. Use a tablespoon to scoop rounded amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
7. Sprinkle a few extra red and green sprinkles on top of each cookie before baking.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
