Ingredients
For the Red Velvet Cake Layer:
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp cocoa powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup buttermilk
1 tbsp red food coloring
1 tsp white vinegar
For the Oreo Cheesecake Layer:
2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup sour cream
½ cup heavy cream
10 Oreo cookies, crushed
For the Topping:
6 Oreo cookies, crushed
½ cup white chocolate, melted
Instructions
Prepare the Red Velvet Cake Layer
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9-inch springform pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla, buttermilk, red food coloring, and vinegar.
Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing until smooth.
Pour into the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool completely.
Make the Oreo Cheesecake Layer
Lower oven temperature to 325°F (163°C).
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla, sour cream, and heavy cream, mixing until fully combined.
Fold in crushed Oreos.
Pour cheesecake batter over the red velvet cake layer.
Bake in a water bath for 50-55 minutes, or until the center is set.
Let cool in the oven for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Garnish & Serve
Sprinkle crushed Oreos on top.
Drizzle with melted white chocolate.
