Grilled Lamb Chops, Garlic Butter Shrimp, Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus, and Yellow Rice
Grilled Lamb Chops & Garlic Butter Shrimp Dinner Feast
Ingredients:
For the Lamb Chops:
4-6 lamb chops
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried thyme
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Shrimp:
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp chopped parsley
For the Mashed Potatoes:
2 lb red potatoes, quartered
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp sour cream
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Asparagus:
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
For the Yellow Rice:
1 cup long-grain rice
2 cups chicken broth
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp cumin
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
Instructions:
For the Lamb Chops:
Rub lamb chops with olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Sear lamb chops for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or cook to your desired doneness. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
For the Shrimp:
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add shrimp, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes per side, or until shrimp turn pink. Sprinkle with parsley.
For the Mashed Potatoes:
Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot.
Mash potatoes with butter, heavy cream, and sour cream until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
For the Asparagus:
Toss asparagus with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Roast at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
For the Yellow Rice:
Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add rice, turmeric, and cumin, and stir for 1-2 minutes.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until rice is tender.
To Serve: Arrange the grilled lamb chops, garlic butter shrimp, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and yellow rice on a plate. Garnish with fresh parsley for a vibrant and flavorful meal. Enjoy!
