Pasta with Creamy Shrimp Sauce Recipe – Delicious Seafood Pasta Dish

Ingredients

  • 1lb pasta
  • 2tablespoons olive oil
  • 4garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1white onion, finely chopped
  • 1lb shrimp
  • 2tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/4cup white wine
  • 2cups heavy cream
  • 2tablespoons chopped onion
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Steps

  • 1 Cook the pasta in boiling water for approximately 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 2  While the pasta is cooking, stir-fry the garlic and onion in the oil until the onion is translucent. Add the shrimp and sauté until they completely change color from a gray to a pink color. Incorporate the tomato paste and cook for 1 additional minute. Add the wine and let reduce. Pour in the cream and cook over medium heat for 8 more minutes.
  • 3  Mix the pasta with the sauce, sprinkle with the chopped onion and serve.
