🥢 Beef Egg Rolls 🍖
These crispy, savory egg rolls are filled with flavorful ground beef and fresh vegetables – perfect for a snack or appetizer!
Ingredients:
🌾 Egg Roll Wrappers: 10-12 (found in the frozen section)
🥩 Ground Beef: 1 lb (about 450g)
🧅 Green Onion: 2, chopped
🧄 Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
🥕 Carrot: 1 small, julienned
🥬 Cabbage: 1 cup, shredded
🍶 Soy Sauce: 2 tbsp
🌶️ Sesame Oil: 1 tsp
🧂 Salt and Pepper: To taste
🛢️ Vegetable Oil: For frying
Instructions:
Cook the Beef: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Prepare the Veggies: Add garlic, green onion, carrots, and cabbage to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.
Season: Add soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
Wrap the Rolls: Lay out an egg roll wrapper, and spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the beef mixture onto the center. Fold the sides in and roll tightly, sealing the edges with a bit of water.
Fry the Rolls: Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium heat. Fry the egg rolls in batches for about 3-4 minutes or until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Serve: Serve with sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
Perfectly crispy on the outside and deliciously savory on the inside – your taste buds are in for a treat! 😋
