Homemade Peach Ice Cream โ Creamy, Sweet, and Perfectly Refreshing!
Ingredients:
2 pounds fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and chopped
1 cup granulated sugar
1 pint half-and-half cream
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups whole milk (or as needed to fill the ice cream maker)
Directions:
1๏ธโฃ Prep the Peaches:
Peel, pit, and chop the peaches into small chunks.
Sprinkle with sugar and stir to coat evenly. Let the peaches sit for 10-15 minutes, releasing their natural juices to form a syrup.
2๏ธโฃ Make the Cream Base:
In a large bowl, combine half-and-half cream, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract.
Add the peaches and their syrup to the cream mixture. Stir until well combined.
3๏ธโฃ Prepare the Ice Cream Maker:
Pour the peach and cream mixture into the ice cream maker.
Add enough whole milk to reach the fill line (approximately 2 cups).
4๏ธโฃ Churn the Ice Cream:
Assemble the ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturerโs instructions (typically 20-40 minutes) until thick and creamy.
5๏ธโฃ Freeze for Firmer Ice Cream (Optional):
For a soft-serve consistency, enjoy immediately.
For a firmer texture, transfer to a freezer-safe container, cover tightly, and freeze for 2-3 hours before serving.
