  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • Oil, for frying

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the ground pork and cook until browned.
  3. Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and celery to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic, Cajun seasoning, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and mix until well combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Place a spoonful of the rice mixture onto each egg roll wrapper. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly, sealing the edges with water.
  7. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C). Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels before serving.

Crac Mac

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Salt and white pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to create a roux, cooking for 2 minutes.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth and thickened.
  4. Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the saucepan, stirring until melted and creamy. Season with salt and white pepper.
  5. Stir in the cooked macaroni until well coated with the cheese sauce.
  6. Transfer the macaroni and cheese to a baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.

Lemon Bae Wings

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the wings from the marinade and discard excess marinade.
