  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For frying:

  • 2 cups vegetable oil


  1. Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Pour the marinade into a large resealable plastic bag.
  5. Add the chicken pieces into the bag and seal it.
  6. Massage the marinade into the chicken to ensure it is fully coated.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
