Stuffed Sloppy Joe Bombs

Make These Stuffed Sloppy Joe Bombs for Your Next Party – Recipe Inside

Stuffed Sloppy Joe Bombs are a delicious and easy way to enjoy the classic flavors of sloppy joes in a bite-sized appetizer. Here is how you can make them at home:

– 1 pound of lean ground beef
– 1/4 cup of chopped onion
– 1/4 cup of ketchup
– 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
– 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
– 4 ounces of cheddar cheese, cut into 8 cubes
– 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
– Sesame seeds for sprinkling (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and onion, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 15 minutes. Drain the excess fat.
3. Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper and simmer until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.
4. Separate the biscuit dough into 8 pieces and flatten each one into a 4-inch circle. Place a cheese cube in the center of each biscuit and spoon about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture over it. Fold the edges of the biscuit over the filling and seal well. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
6. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
7. Enjoy your Stuffed Sloppy Joe Bombs with some extra ketchup for dipping if you like.
