1 pound lean ground beef
1 Tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 cup tomato sauce
3 avocados halved
Mix all of the spices in a small bowl, pour tomato sauce in a separate measuring cup and set aside.
Add ground beef to a skillet over medium heat and cook until browned and no longer pink inside, about 10 minutes.
While the meat is cooking, prep your topping ingredients (shred lettuce, grate cheese and chop tomatoes and cilantro)
Once the beef is cooked, drain any grease, add spices and tomato sauce, stir to combine and let simmer on low heat for another 3 to 5 minutes.
Halve your avocados, remove pits and fill with meat and your choice of toppings.
