Bacon Wrapped Smokies With Brown Sugar And Butter

You’re just 4 ingredients away from the easiest perfect game day appetizer ever.

Cook time: 25 Min Prep time: 15 Min Serves: 55

Ingredients :
1 pound Bacon, Cut Into Thirds
1 pound Lil’ Smokies (small sausages)
1 stick Butter
2 cups Brown Sugar

Directions :
1. Preheat oven to 375F. Cut the bacon into thirds and wrap each smokie.(small sausage) Place all the wrapped smokies in a single layer in a baking dish. Then melt the stick of butter and then 1 cup of brown sugar and stir until mixed well.
2. Pour the butter and brown sugar mixture on the smokies and bacon. Then take the other cup of brown sugar and sprinkle evenly over the smokies. Bake them for about 15-20 minutes and then turn the heat up to 400F for about 5 minutes or longer until the bacon becomes crispy.

Note :

**Keep an eye on them and don’t overcook or the glaze could scorch. You could also turn the broiler on and do them a couple of minutes under it to finish the bacon tops.
Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving. If you want to serve as hor d’oeuvres – just stick a toothpick in it and serve —just watch them disappear!
