Ingredients:

For the Ribs:

  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 2 tablespoons of paprika
  • 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons of onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of cumin
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1 cup of BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup of honey

Mac and Cheese:

  • 1 pound of elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups of whole milk
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Baked Beans:

  • 2 cans of navy beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of molasses
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Mashed Potatoes:

  • 5 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup of whole milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preparing the Ribs

  • Preheat your oven to 250°F.
  • Remove the membrane from the back of each rack of ribs.
  • Mix together the spices and rub the mixture all over the ribs, making sure to cover them completely.
  1. Cooking the Ribs

  • Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the ribs in the oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until they are tender and fully cooked.
  1. Making the Mac and Cheese

  • Cook the elbow macaroni until al dente.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the flour and whisk together until smooth.
  • Gradually whisk in the milk and continue to whisk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Add the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese and whisk until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
